Lab-Path imprints a Stamp of Approval on food products it monitors in order to allow consumers to buy safer food. The company serves as an external entity, which inspects farmers and manufacturers, and all of its experts are company employees.
The Stamp of Approval serves as evidence that the food has been monitored and is therefore safer. The monitoring processes and methods employed are open to the consumer and marketer, and anyone can utilize the unique system provided on our website to view the control process applied to the food products they have bought.
Monitoring millions of food products is costly and complicated. Therefore we have adopted a monitoring system based on controlled sampling, with the purpose of reducing to a minimum the statistical error rate.
The following are the conditions that must be met for products to be imprinted with the Stamp of Approval:
Constant supervision: lab tests have been conducted and constant supervision implemented.
Qualified inspectors: sampling and monitoring are only conducted by skilled teams concerned solely with public health.
Information open to anyone: all information concerning the food product and its monitoring process appears on the Lab-Path website.
Approved labs: tests are only conducted by labs that are recognized by the Ministry of Health and authorized by the Authority for Laboratory Qualification and adhere to the ISO 17025 standard.
